Sacred Winds in Siskiyou
Protecting Nature. Empowering Youth. Serving Members
We desire to become a living model for sustainable living, youth development, and kinship with the natural world.
Who We Serve–
Three distinct populations with unique needs and objectives

Sacred Winds in Siskiyou serves three interconnected communities: the natural world, youth and families, and the partners who work together to strengthen healthy and sustainable communities.
1) The Natural World
We serve the land itself—both above and underneathe it—protecting habitats, restoring ecosystems, supporting endangered species, practicing recycling and responsible resource use, and modeling regenerative, off-grid sustainability. Through hands-on kinship with nature and ecological training, Sacred Winds functions as a living demonstration site for caring for the Earth.
2) Youth and Families
We support youth—especially those facing adversity or recovering from trauma—through nature-based learning, normative culture, character development, and a virtues-over-vices approach to youth development. Through mentorship, retreats, and life-skills experiences, young people build resilience, clarity, and purpose.
3) Community Partners and Practitioners
We serve rural communities, youth-serving organizations, nonprofits, educators, the public, and civic partners by providing a natural setting for trainings, workshops, conferences, and collaborative problem-solving. Through a Solutionary™ approach that focuses on youth development, Sacred Winds strengthens community capacity and long-term well-being.

About Our Sponsor
The Universal Faithists of Kosmon, Inc., is a 501c3 religious organization with its mission at SWS, as taken from OAHSPE:
Now, behold, I come in this era, not only to declare to you that the time of preaching is at an end, save wherein it is practiced in deed as it is spoken in word, but also to prophesy to you, that many of you will give up your calling, and preach no more.
And your temples and churches and meeting-houses shall be turned into consultation chambers, to find remedies against poverty, crime, and debauchery.
And the congregations shall be enrolled, and, at the meetings, they shall be inquired after, to see if they are in need. And they shall have volunteers, who shall go about seeking out the helpless and distressed (Newbrough, 1882, p. 794).
